My name is Zinan Lin (林梓楠 in Chinese). I am a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research, and I am on the Advisory Board of Rockfish Data. I received my Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in 2023, where I am fortunate to be advised by Giulia Fanti and Vyas Sekar. Before that, I obtained my B.E. from Tsinghua University in 2017. I am interested in the theoretical foundations of machine learning (especially generative models), and the applications in privacy, security, and networking.
